New homes for Killearn village
Stirling MSP Bruce Crawford officially opened a new Rural Stirling Housing Association site in Killearn.
The site includes 12 new homes – 8 houses and 4 cottage flats.

Killearn road works spark fury as business owners hit out
Killearn business owners this week hit out at the village’s community council after road works disrupted their businesses.
Works are underway in the village to provide a traffic island in Station Road, with the aim of easing pedestrian access.

Killearn Community Fireworks 2018
The organisers of this year’s KCFC Annual Family Charity Fireworks and Bonfire extravaganza look forward to welcoming you all to the village on Saturday 3rd November 2018. The gates to the field behind the village hall will open at 19:00 and the event will start promptly at 19:30. Entry is by donation and the entire event is funded by donations on the evening so please dig deep. We’re also proudly supported by the local businesses who advertise in our program which is distributed to 1,000’s of local homes. If you are travelling by car to the village, please allow plenty time to get into Killearn and find a parking place.

Thieves steal cash, stamps and safe in raid on Killearn garden centre
Thieves stole cash and stamps, worth more than £13,000 when they raided a family business.
The Post Office at Oakwood Garden Centre, Killearn, was targeted in the early hours of last Monday (September 24).

Public to have their say on Killearn beauty spot proposals
A public consultation is to be held to discuss the future of a popular beauty spot in Killearn, Stirlingshire.
Architects, planners and the local farmer will meet members of the public to discuss plans to create a tourist hub. Bell Ingram’s plans for Finnich Glen include creation of a 150-space car park as well as a visitor centre and shop.

Storm Ali damage pictures: Cars flattened and roads blocked as trees toppled
Routes across Stirling were in chaos as Storm Ali battered the area.
The powerful winds that accompanied the storm saw trees blown over and uprooted, many blocking key roads.

Tourist hub plans unveiled to tackle parking and safety concerns at Outlander beauty spot
Plans have been drawn up to develop a £1.5 million tourist hub at a beauty spot near Killearn.
The landowner of Finnich Glen is proposing to transform the location in a bid to ease parking woes on the surrounding roads and improve safety.
