Killearn business owners this week hit out at the village’s community council after road works disrupted their businesses.
Works are underway in the village to provide a traffic island in Station Road, with the aim of easing pedestrian access.

The organisers of this year’s KCFC Annual Family Charity Fireworks and Bonfire extravaganza look forward to welcoming you all to the village on Saturday 3rd November 2018. The gates to the field behind the village hall will open at 19:00 and the event will start promptly at 19:30. Entry is by donation and the entire event is funded by donations on the evening so please dig deep. We’re also proudly supported by the local businesses who advertise in our program which is distributed to 1,000’s of local homes. Thieves stole cash and stamps, worth more than £13,000 when they raided a family business.
The Post Office at Oakwood Garden Centre, Killearn, was targeted in the early hours of last Monday (September 24).

A public consultation is to be held to discuss the future of a popular beauty spot in Killearn, Stirlingshire.
Architects, planners and the local farmer will meet members of the public to discuss plans to create a tourist hub. Bell Ingram’s plans for Finnich Glen include creation of a 150-space car park as well as a visitor centre and shop.
