Green projects get £600,000 boost

GREEN projects in the Stirling area have been awarded more than £620,000 from the Scottish Government’s £8 million Climate Challenge Fund (CCF).

Going Carbon Neutral Stirling (GCNS), the programme administered by Keep Scotland Beautiful, along with projects in Broomridge, Bannockburn, Doune, Strathblane, 7th Beechwood Scouts, Callander and Killearn, have all received grants to carry out energy efficiency and generation projects, food growing schemes and active travel plans.
