Public to have their say on Killearn beauty spot proposals

A public consultation is to be held to discuss the future of a popular beauty spot in Killearn, Stirlingshire.

Architects, planners and the local farmer will meet members of the public to discuss plans to create a tourist hub. Bell Ingram’s plans for Finnich Glen include creation of a 150-space car park as well as a visitor centre and shop.

Outlander fans saved by mountain rescuers after swimming in dangerous gorge

OUTLANDER fans – some of them in swimming gear – are being saved by mountain rescuers after flocking to a beauty spot that features in the hit show.

There has been a big increase in visitors to Finnich Glen and the Devil’s Pulpit, near Killearn, Stirling, after they featured in an episode of the series.

Outlander fans heading to beauty spot leads to parking problems

Traffic problems have been reported at a beauty spot made more popular after featuring in a television blockbuster.

Issues involving dangerous and illegal parking at the Devil’s Pulpit, off the A809, near Killearn, were raised at the village’s community council.
