KILLEARN’S first ever beer festival at The Old Mill at the beginning of June has been hailed as a phenomenal success this week by the organisers.
Despite the rainy weather everyone enjoyed the fortnight of fun, frolics and community camaraderie thanks to a fantastic line-up of events for the village Hoolie.

Killearn is set to come to life over the next few days with a week’s celebration of community spirit and enterprise – including the village’s first gala day in seven years.
The Killearn Hoolie week will launch with the Killearn Fun Run 10k and 5k races on Sunday – plus a 2k jog for children – from the village centre out along the water pipeline towards Strathblane.
