Operator CJ Lang & Son said it was “constantly reviewing” provision in its shops around the country.

A Vauxhall Astra travelling north was involved in a head-on collision with a Dacia Duster travelling in the opposite direction at 14:10 on Sunday afternoon.

The star of new movie King Arthur: Legend of the Sword has told of being “very excited” when told scenes were to be shot in the Scottish Highlands.

Locations for the Guy Ritchie-directed movie included near the Bealach na Bà, a pass in Applecross, and Devil’s Pulpit, near Killearn.

Sir Arnold Clark, the founder of Britain’s biggest independent group of car dealerships, has died at the age of 89.

The billionaire was born in Glasgow, where he set up his first showroom in 1954 after leaving the RAF.

Biker seriously injured in Killearn crash

A 43-year-old motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash in Stirlingshire.

The man suffered “significant” head and chest injuries after his bike was in collision with a Volkswagen Passat on the A890, south of the junction with the B834 at Finnich Toll, Killearn.

A teenager, who flipped his car and injured his three passengers just months after passing his driving test, has been jailed for nine months.

Luke Clark admitted driving dangerously when he overturned his Vauxhall Corsa on the A809 road at Killearn in April.
