Outlander fans saved by mountain rescuers after swimming in dangerous gorge

OUTLANDER fans – some of them in swimming gear – are being saved by mountain rescuers after flocking to a beauty spot that features in the hit show.

There has been a big increase in visitors to Finnich Glen and the Devil’s Pulpit, near Killearn, Stirling, after they featured in an episode of the series.

The BBC has been accused of putting lives at risk by promoting a dangerous gorge as one of the most “magical” and “fun” places to explore in Scotland.

Finnich Glen near Killearn in Stirlingshire – also known as The Devil’s Pulpit – has been growing in popularity ever since it appeared in hit TV series Outlander.
