Information for cyclists
The national Lochs and Glens (North) cycling route (route 7) that goes from Glasgow to Inverness just misses the village by around 3 miles. It’s easy to join, all you need to do is cycle down Gartness Road. Killearn can also be used as a convenient starting point for some half-day/full-day cycling trips. Why not park your car in the village and start one of the following trips.

A traffic-free path takes you from Glasgow, along the rivers Clyde and Leven, to the shores of Loch Lomond. The route takes in the lochs of Drunkie, Venachar, Lubnaig, Earn and Tay. Glen Ogle with its old railway viaducts is one of the highlights of the route.
