Killearn is covered by two transmitters the first being the local one at Craighat and the second one at Darvel.

Transmitter information

The local transmitter at Craighat starts the digital switchover on 8th June 2011, when BBC2 analogue is switched off.

The Darvel transmitter has completed the digital switchover on 25th June 2011. This transmitter now has 4 HD channels (BBC1 HD, BBC HD, STV HD and CH4 HD).

To get Freeview your aerial must be in very good condition.

Killearn digital switchover information

The Killearn transmitter, switching over in two stages on 8 June 2011 and 22 June 2011.

Stage 1 (8 June 2011)

BBC2 analogue is switched off. You will need to re-tune your digital equipment to pick up the available channels.

Stage 2 (22 June 2011)

The remaining analogue channels are switched off. You will need to re-tune your digital equipment again to pick up additional channels.

The Darvel transmitter, switching over in two stages on 8 May 2011 and 25 May 2011.

Stage 1 (11 May 2011) – This stage is now complete

BBC2 analogue is switched off. You will need to re-tune your digital equipment to pick up the available channels.

Stage 2 (25 May 2011) – This stage is now complete

The remaining analogue channels are switched off. You will need to re-tune your digital equipment again to pick up additional channels.
