Children petition over housing site

Children have lodged a petition in a bid to stop a field in Killearn from being developed by Stirling Council.

The council’s housing service wants to build six semi-detached bungalows for the elderly on an area known as the turnip field.

The application, currently under consideration by the council’s planners, is supported by the local community council.
